Provenza Florece 2025: The celebration that transformed one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world.

On August 2nd and 3rd, Provenza truly bloomed. For the first time, Medellín’s iconic neighborhood celebrated a two-block street festival filled with joy, dancing, art, culture, local entrepreneurship, and even a classic car exhibition—solidifying the area as a true reference point for entertainment, creativity, and tradition.

Organized by Cuatro&co and the Provenza Corporation—now officially recognized as an Economic Revitalization Area (ARE)—with the support of the Medellín Mayor’s Office and the official sponsorship of FLA with Aguardiente Antioqueño Verde 24 grados and Hidratao, as well as Postobón with Bretaña and Hatsu, and Iglú, this event made it clear that Provenza continues to set the standard as one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world, a title awarded by Time Out magazine in 2023.

Two Blocks of Pure Rhythm

This time, Provenza’s two pedestrian blocks featured a unified sound system, five stages, and giant screens so no one missed a single moment.

Artists ranging from classics like Afrosound and Cumbia Stars to emerging talents such as Setonix, Cami Sanabria (Medellín Music Lab), and David Kala took over the stages.

The music never stopped: Tropical Swing, Orquesta La Sigilosa, Zona 90, Orquesta La 39, Grupo de Salsa Posada León, and DJs Mareana, Nico Rivera, Julián Flores, and Andrés Sanchez kept more than 13,000 roaming attendees dancing until 4:00 a.m. on Sunday.

And to top it all off, we had a surprise guest: Golpe a Golpe, who turned up the party with all the flow paisa. 🔥

Not Even the Rain Stopped Us!

The celebration kicked off at 3:00 p.m. and wrapped up at 4:00 a.m. More than 13,000 people enjoyed the event throughout the day. And even though it rained, nothing got in the way—people of all ages and nationalities kept dancing and singing like it was nothing. Provenza became a true global meeting point..

And as if that weren’t enough, Red Bull brought its Dance Your Style battle, broadcast by Win Sports. The top dancers in Colombia performed a show never before seen in a public space in Medellín. The best part? The audience became the jury, choosing the winner with score cards, their energy, and their applause.

More Than Music: Culture and Tradition

It wasn’t all partying—there were activities for every taste:

  • A live silleta created by silletera Daniela Londoño, where visitors helped finish it and took photos.

  • An artisan market featuring unique handcrafted pieces.

  • Kids’ activities with the Youth Secretariat, including making keychains to take home.

  • Local actors who added that authentic cultural touch.

  • A classic car exhibition that became a total photo favorite.

The brands also showed up in style: FLA with its 360° booth, Bretaña’s refreshing bar, and several brand activations that left everyone with great memories.

Provenza florecida para todo el mes

El evento no terminó en esas dos noches: la Carrera 35 se vistió de flores con materas y decoración que permanecerán durante todo septiembre, convirtiendo a Provenza en un imperdible para turistas y locales.
